How do I log a shift?

On the first screen, pick the job and hours under Quick log, then tap Add. For another day, start and end times or a note, tap "Add times, date or a note" under the Add button.

I logged by mistake. How do I undo it?

Tap Undo right after adding. Later, tap the shift under Shifts to change its hours or delete it.

How does “still owed” work?

It's everything you've earned minus everything you've marked as paid, per job. When money lands, open the job in Jobs and tap “I Got Paid”.

My pay doesn't come on a set day.

Choose “No set payday” for that job, then tap “I Got Paid” on its page in Jobs whenever you're paid.

I got a raise.

Open the job in Jobs and change its wage. New shifts use the new wage. Old shifts keep the rate they were logged at.

How do I move to a new iPhone?

Open HourJar on the new iPhone and tap Continue with Apple, using the same Apple Account. Everything comes across, and stays in sync from then on.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete Account. It erases your account and its data right away. Or email us and we'll do it for you.

Can I get my data out?

Settings → Export CSV gives you a spreadsheet of every shift and payment.

Does HourJar include taxes?

No. Amounts are before tax and deductions, based on the wage you enter.
